PREFACE

"IN THE MOOD FOR BLOOD" emerged from a collaboration between YAKUZAI•CORP, Claude 3.5 Sonnet (Anthropic, April 2024) and GPT-4o (OpenAI, December 2024), representing one of the first long-form narratives co-created with multiple advanced large language models. The creative process explores the increasingly blurred boundaries between human and artificial intelligence, as this technology continues to reshape our definition of reality.

Visual elements were generated using Midjourney v6's advanced image generation system in conjunction with Adobe Firefly’s Generative Fill implementation, creating the distinct neo-noir aesthetic that captures the YAKUZAI fusion of futurism, high fashion, cyberpunk culture, and digital consciousness.

As a graphic series, EPISODE I of "IN THE MOOD FOR BLOOD" is inscribed as a Bitcoin ordinal, recursively attached to the YAKUZAI•CORP Rune - permanently embedding the work within a segment of the digital architecture it describes.

Following its inscription, the narrative will unfold dynamically through AI Agents derived from the story itself, utilizing a16z's Eliza framework. These Agents operate within the YAKUZAI ecosystem while simultaneously interacting with humans and each agents on X. They bridge the gap between fiction and reality, allowing the YAKUZAI story to evolve interactively in real time.
